アイスクリームなのに中国製だけ牛乳使ってないぞ！
最近、中国ネットユーザーの「ユニリーバのアイスクリームMAGNUM（中国名：梦竜、以下マグナム）は中国と海外で原材料が違う」と言うSNSへの投稿が話題になりました。
中国版マグナムはチョコレート層に植物油脂の割合が高く、粉乳（スキムミルク）だけが使用されている。
欧州市場で販売されているマグナムは牛乳を原料にしている。
ユニリーバのグローバルバイスプレジデントも、中国で使用されているのは復元乳であり、粉乳に水を加えたものだと語った。
ヨーロッパでは水と生乳を使用している。しかし、ヨーロッパの生乳は中国への輸送が困難、また中国産の牛乳は安定供給に問題がある。
ユニリーバが公開している中国版とヨーロッパ版の配合比較図を見ると、中国版は粉乳（3.5〜3.7％）が植物油脂（ココナッツオイル）の後に並べられている。
専門家によると、植物油脂は乳脂肪より安価との見解だ。
実際マグナムは特別ではなく、中国に進出している外資系ブランドの多くは似たような問題を抱えている。
中国農墾乳業連盟の宋亮氏は語る。
タンパク質含有量が一致している場合、粉乳から作られた復元乳のコストは約8000〜1万元。
生乳の価格は約1.3〜1.4万元、その差は１トンあたり約3000〜4000元である。
